Better by Design AI Reserve for $495
October 2026 Cohort Thursdays · 1–2 PM ET · starts Oct 1 10 seats

Everyone said AI would save you time. So why are you still here at six?

You've got a grant report due Friday, a board packet you haven't started, and a job that quietly became two jobs. You tried the AI thing. It gave you something generic that you had to rewrite anyway. Four Thursdays, one hour each, and that stops being true.

I lost 40% of my work days to a health crisis at home. What I built to survive it is what I teach here.

Live only, never recorded. Full refund through September 24.

Sound familiar

It isn't that you haven't tried.

Almost everyone in nonprofits and member-serving institutions has already had a run at this. Here's where it usually falls apart.

You rewrote it anywayThe draft came back generic and slightly wrong, and fixing it took longer than writing it yourself. So you stopped opening the tab.
The examples were never your jobFree trainings demo travel itineraries and haikus. Nobody shows you a grant narrative or a delinquency letter.
Nobody answered the real questionCan you put donor records in this? Member data? You got a shrug or a flat no, so you played it safe and got nothing.
You watched, then nothing changedYou've sat through free AI webinars before. Be honest: is your Monday any different than it was?
Why me

I didn't learn this in a classroom. I learned it when I ran out of time.

Chiara Barden

A health crisis at home took away forty percent of my work days. Five down to three. The work didn't shrink to match.

I tried the obvious things first, and they didn't work. Waking up earlier just made me tired. Working faster produced worse output. Cutting corners showed. What finally changed things wasn't a productivity system. It was getting ruthless about which work genuinely required me, and then building a way to get through the rest in a fraction of the time.

How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.

That's the method I teach now. Not because I read about it, but because I needed it to keep my business alive on three days a week, and it did. I've since trained more than 8,000 professionals in it, most of them in nonprofits, banks, and credit unions, where the work has rules and mistakes have consequences.

I spent twenty years leading teams before any of this was a job title. I know what a board packet costs you. That's why the training is about the work rather than the technology.

Straight comparison

Free training, this, or a two-thousand-dollar day.

You have three real options. Here's the honest version of each, including where the other two are the better call.

Free webinar or YouTube This bootcamp · $495 Private team training
Who looks at your work No one. You're one of 300. I do. Ten people, four weeks. I do, and only your colleagues are in the room.
What you practice on The instructor's demo examples. Your actual grant report, board packet, or member letter. Your organization's real workflows, built into the session in advance.
Who's in the room Hundreds of strangers. Ten people from different organizations, max two from any one. Your team only. Nothing said in it leaves it.
When it happens Whenever you get to it. Four fixed Thursdays, 1–2 PM ET. Scheduled on your calendar, in the format you need.
Built for regulated work No, generic audience. Yes. Donor, member, and examiner-facing work is the whole point. Yes, and built around your own data and AI policies.
Who decides to buy it Nobody has to. You can, without a budget meeting. Your director or L&D lead.
When it's the right call You're curious and not ready to change anything yet. You have real work to fix and no day to spare. You're bringing a team, and the discussion should stay internal.

Bringing more than two people from the same organization? Private team training is the better fit, and I run those too. Book a short call and I'll tell you honestly which one you actually need.

What changes

What you'll be able to do by the end.

Four weeks is short. So the goal isn't to make you an AI expert. It's to change how a specific set of tasks feels on Monday morning.

01

Get a usable draft on the first try

Not the fourth. The cycle of vague request, generic answer, reword, try again is where most people quietly give up and go back to doing it by hand.

02

Hand off the task you've been dreading

Bring one real recurring task (the grant report, the board summary, the member letter) and leave with a process for it you can run again next month.

03

Know what's safe to put in, and what isn't

A line you can explain to your director, your board, or an examiner. Donor records, member data, anything regulated: you'll know where the boundary sits and why.

04

Trust the output enough to sign your name to it

Constraining AI so it works from your facts instead of inventing plausible ones is the difference between a tool you use and a tool you're nervous about.

All of it runs on ROCK™, the four-part framework I built for people whose work has rules and whose mistakes have consequences. You'll learn it in Session 1 and use it every week after.

  • Four live sessions: Thursdays, 1:00–2:00 PM ET, starting October 1
  • Ten seats, max two from any one organization
  • Worksheets and prompt templates you keep
  • An invitation to the Rockstar community: optional, free for 30 days
How it works

Live only. No recordings.

This is deliberate, and it's the thing to understand before you register. Nothing is recorded, so there are no replays and no credit for a session you miss. In exchange, the room is candid: people bring the actual messy thing they're stuck on, because nothing is being captured and played back later.

Thu, Oct 1 Thu, Oct 8 Thu, Oct 15 Thu, Oct 22 1:00–2:00 PM ET

Put all four in your calendar before you pay. If something changes, you can hand your seat to a colleague at no charge with three days' notice.

What people say

From skeptic to enthusiastic user.

I was a die-hard skeptic when it came to using AI in any form. Then I had a conversation with Chiara and that conversation completely changed my perspective. Chiara has a remarkable ability to make AI approachable, understandable, and genuinely useful. She helped me see the practical possibilities and gave me the confidence to start using AI in ways I never imagined. I've gone from being a skeptic to an enthusiastic AI user. If you're hesitant about AI or wondering how it can benefit you or your business, I highly recommend talking with Chiara.

Before you register

Straight answers.

Why should I pay $495 when there's free AI training everywhere?
You shouldn't, if watching is what you want. Free training is genuinely good for understanding what AI is. It's poor at changing what you do on Tuesday, because nobody there is looking at your work, the examples aren't your job, and there's no reason to practice. The honest test: you've watched free AI content before. Has your workload changed? If yes, keep doing that. If no, the missing ingredient was never more information.
What if I miss a session?
You miss it. There's no recording and no make-up session, and no refund or credit for a missed week. I'll email you that week's materials if you ask. This is the honest tradeoff for a room where people speak freely. Please check all four dates against your calendar before you pay.
Do I need to know anything about AI already?
No. If you've opened ChatGPT or Claude once and thought "that's not quite it," you're exactly the right starting point. If you're already writing sophisticated prompts daily, this will be too foundational.
Which AI tools does this cover?
ROCK™ works across Claude, ChatGPT, and Google Gemini. The framework is about how you think and write, not which button you press. You don't need a paid subscription to any of them to participate.
Can I send my whole team?
Not to this. A public cohort takes no more than two people from any one organization. Ten seats where six are colleagues is a worse room for everyone: people self-censor in front of coworkers, which is exactly what this format depends on them not doing. If you're bringing a team, private training is genuinely the better product: same material, your examples, your calendar, and nothing said in the room leaves it. Book a call and I'll scope it.
Can my employer pay for this?
Yes, and at $495 it's usually below the threshold that requires a budget conversation, which is much of the point. Stripe will email a receipt you can expense. If your organization needs an invoice, a W-9, or to pay by check or ACH, email me before you register and I'll set that up instead.
What's your refund policy?
Full refund, no questions asked, if you email me by September 24 (seven days before Session 1). After that, no refunds; by then your seat has been held and other people turned away. You can always transfer your seat to a colleague at no charge with 3 days' notice.
What is the Rockstar community, and am I signing up for it?
No, not unless you choose to. Bootcamp graduates are Rockstars, and there's an optional community where people keep working on this together. You'll get an invitation at Session 1. It's $50/month with the first 30 days free, and it's a completely separate signup. Registering for the bootcamp today sets up nothing recurring.
Is this safe to use with my organization's data?
The training covers exactly this: what's safe to put into an AI tool and what isn't. But it's education, not legal or compliance advice, and you stay responsible for your own organization's policies. We use redacted and sample data in every exercise.

Four Thursdays. Then it's different.

Ten seats, starting October 1. After that you'll have a framework you can use on Monday morning, and a room of people who learned it with you.
